Taco Night
Hey there!
Today was a really interesting day for us Austrians. Second day of school, meeting new people and of course trying new food. The cafeteria offered pizza and tacos, which means you don’t have to worry about your child starving! German class was so fun to watch. I didn’t even know that the Americans are that interested in our culture (they adore the Tracht). We even sang german songs—as we know the German language isn’t easy, they successfully performed all of the songs. After school Charlotte, Marlene and I went to the ,,Cafe Parker“, where we ate the best brownies on earth. (I will definitely come back before we’re heading back!) Sadly we weren’t able to watch my host sister Avery practice Volleyball, but my host mom drove Charlotte, Barbara, Aeneas and me to Greenfield, where we had Taco Night with some other students. And again the food was delicious! Constantin and his host family even prepared Guacamole and you should have heard Gloria play the piano— a super talent! After many conversations we decided to take a walk to the spookiest house in Greenfield. And even though it was really cold outside, it was totally worth it!
