Trip to Maine

This Friday, some of us had the opportunity to go on a field trip to the coast of Maine. After a two hour drive we arrived at our first stop: The Nubble Lighthouse. We took a few pictures there and enjoyed the fantastic view over the ocean. 

After that we visited a small town called "Ogunquit". There, we strolled through the different shops and restaurants and of course, we had to try the famous lobster roll which was really expensive but definitely worth trying. Additionally, some local fishermen even showed us their latest catch of lobsters.

Before we went back to Peterborough, we walked along the beach of Ogunquit. It was very windy but no one was really bothered because the sun shone the entire time. Nonetheless, the water was still really cold so swimming in the ocean was unfortunately not an option.

We arrived back in Peterborough at around 5 p.m. but before we all went our separate ways again, we had some refreshments at Dunkin' Donuts which was the perfect way to end this trip.
