The 9/11 Memorial & Museum

During our eventful stay in NYC, we visited one of the most important memorials in the State - the 9/11 Memorial. Each room had its own story to tell, from the timeline of the events to the personal anecdotes of survivors or family and friends of the victims. Seeing the recovered scraps of the Twin Towers truly put the monumental impact of this catastrophe into perspective.

They had some rotating exhibitions as well, such as the K-9 memorial, which named all the serving rescue dogs that were used in the aftermath.

It was very interesting to see how such a tragedy would be remembered. It was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend visiting the Memorial and Museum when in NYC.
